Where has the time gone???  I have been so busy with summer vacations - totally ready for fall & things to settle down a bit :) I have lots to share - first off I just found out 2 of my layouts will be published in ScrapStreet magazine - I'm so excited!!!  I just began submitting & am so happy to have such a positive response :) I will be sure to post the links to the magazines once my layouts are up.  I also have signed back on with My Creative Scrapbook - Pam puts out such AWESOME kits!!  I will be designing exclusive sketches/samples for their Main kits beginning in September. I just received the September Main kit & it is to die for!!!  I was so happy to finally do a little scrapping this week after returning from vacation - this one is full of October Afternoon goodies!!

Well - I missed it - my little man finally went on the toilet & he was at Grammy & Grandpa's :)  I have been trying & trying for weeks to get him to go but no luck - then he goes & does it when I am not around :)  Well - hopefully this wasn't a fluke & he will go at home as well :)  

A few layouts to share - the first is full of My Mind's Eye goodies from their Breaking Free Collection.  I did a bunch of machine-stitching & stamped on a few of the flowers & brads.  I also used some of my new photo tips from Jessica Sprague & used a clipping mask to soften the pic. Really like how this one turned out :)

The second is full of American Crafts goodies - I overlapped 3 machine-stitched circles in the background & hand-stitched on the buttons - I love this pic of my little man :)

Still at the beach - do you ever feel like a vacation can go on too long - I think it has happened :)  I really enjoy the beach but we are on our 5th day here & I am ready to go home - plus I miss my puppies & my scrap room :)  I have been (finally) going through the lessons for the Jessica Sprague's "Photo Editing: Frame-Ups and Special Effects" - it is awesome!!!  Here is a pic of my wedding cake

I was picked, I was picked!!!! I entered a contest over at Stop & Scrap and won a chance to design with one of the NEW (not yet released) My Mind's Eye Collections. Ten scrappers were picked, each one of us to work with one collection. We will all be featured on their site & one of us picked to receive a $50 gift certificate to their store. So excited to be able to work with the new My Mind's Eye goodies before they are out - hope I get this one

I am away at the beach until the end of the week but will be fitting in lots of "scrappy time" next week & will have lots to share :)

Finally, I'm back, I have started over with a new blog :)  The whole process of moving took me away from the blogging world for so long that I decided better to start fresh - why not :)  What is new with me these days???  Not much, just trying to enjoy the busy summer & get a bit of scrapping in here & there.  I recently did a guest DT assignment for the Scrap Room - great kit full of such a fun mix of manufacturers - check it out below:

I have also had some time to play with these new fabulous papers from Nikki Sivils - this layout was featured in the top 10 on Two Peas the other day (a first for me)!!
