**If you are part of the Imaginisce sketch challenge blog hop - head directly to this post**

I had the fabulous opportunity to work with Amber's adorable March kit at Scrapbook Kit Club. Full of Cosmo Cricket & October Afternoon goodness, as well as tons of other fun embellies (including those awesome Jillibean Soup Corrugated Cardboard Alphas), it was such a pleasure to work with!! Pop on over & check it out!!! Here are the projects I came up with . . .

First up, "Curious Boy" - don't miss out on seeing that layered flower held by a brad I created using the i-top by Imaginisce. Gotta love this tool!!! Amber had included these great felt circles in the kit & I stitched a quick "x" and the created a brad :)

Here's a close-up on the journaling . . .

And the title . . .

And a sketch to go along with it - Amber will be posting a challenge on her blog later this week so check in over there & join in the fun!!

Next up - "Best Buds" - my little man & his grandpa :) I had so much fun with this border - a perfect way of using scraps!! I punched then with a border punch & then hand-stitched all the way around. Loved all the fun Cosmo Cricket goodies tucked in around the pic!!!

"Oh So Sweet & Snuggly" is a pic of Ryan from the early days - love this Cosmo Cricket Earth Love line for baby pics :)

Quick close-up of the flowers I made - created by layering up punched flowers . . .

Finally 2 quick & easy cards -

Thanks Amber - loved creating with your kit!!! I have been asked to guest design for a few clubs in the coming months - can't wait to share with you all :) If you are a kit club owner & looking for a guest designer feel free to email me at dailyscrap@gmail.com - I'd love to chat with you!!

Before I go - Happy Birthday to this man . . .

My son LOVES Dr.Seuss & all his imaginative stories. Ryan is totally obsessed with The Cat in the Hat . . .

and The Grinch . . .

We spent the evening at a Dr.Seuss Birthday party at the local library - so much fun :)

Have a fab Tuesday & be back tomorrow to share my Magpie Club sketch & sample!!!

  1. Julie, these LO's are soooo amazing!! You are always so inspiring!! I have Earth Love papers and never thought of using them on a LO of my little nephew. I even have a sepia photo!! I agree with Ryan. Dr. Seuss rocks!! I have already started my nephew's collection. He has four so far and he is only just past a month old! LOL My fave as a child was, "Put me in the Zoo". I recently bought myself a copy for my collection. Gotta be ready for the day I hopefully get to be a granny. :)

  7. OMGosh Julie... I just had the music start on my computer from your site. Now let me tell you, I normally have the sound on my computer muted, so this was "new" to me - except that it wasn't. I remember back in the day when the 52's were just starting and you had about 10 followers, that you always posted a song of the day. That was how I was introduced to the song "Love Song" and it was mine and my daughter's (then 1 1/2 yrs) jam. We loved it!

It just made me smile to know you're still doin' it.... And of course, your LO's are awesome.... as always.....

    XXOO,
