This pertains to so many things in my life these days . . . it is a transition time right now, in my life.  Lots of things are so different & I am learning, day by day, to find my way.  This little one is growing up, too fast.  Trying so hard to find his way, wanting to be independent but yet not really wanting to . . .

Kindergarten is going well, but the long days are hard for him . . . for me too.  Although my days are still full, with this little stinker . . .

they seem empty at the same time too, without Ryan here :)  We are finding our way - Ryan & I - learning this new part of our lives.  This is part of the growing, for both of us.

Nicholas misses him too during the day, I can just tell :)  And when we pick Ryan up from school he gets SOOOOOOOO excited.  It's so freakin' adorable, not gonna lie :)  And Nicholas is loving the extra mommy time :)  He has become a serious SNUGGLEBUG, which is so very unlike him - he's the tough guy for sure, but these days, a sweet snugglebug :)  And I absolutely love it!!!

LOTS of scrapping to share in the next few weeks, some fun special things :) For today, my most recent post for Noel Mignon using the GORGEOUS September Evening Stroll kit . . .

So many fun tidbits in this kit, Echo Park chipboard & stickers and Jenni Bowlin tags . . .

Oh & lots of journaling on this - I think I am getting the hang of this journaling thing :)

It's gonna be a blast!!!  Hope you are all well & getting ready for the fall season - I can't wait!!!

  1. I am having a hard time with the idea of sending Ben to school full time. For so many reasons. Lets just say, in the twenty years since I put a child in school, so many things have changed. It isn't necessarily for the better either. I think the long days are going to be brutal for Ben. There are so many aspects of this district that I am not happy with, mainly being the fact they are more worried about what you are doing as a parent than teaching. I don't know how to deal with it. Someone told me to make the most of my days as they go by fast. I am not so sure about that one. I do hope Ryan is enjoying school. I love your page. I love the little arrow leading to the journaling and the chip pieces in the title, along with everything else. Hope you are enjoying your last summer holiday! :)
