helping this little man grow . . .
oh & these little feet too (just so cute I had to share!!) . . .
oh & yes - I have been growing quite a bit myself (finally a pregnancy pic - all almost 28 weeks of me - talk about a belly people - I mean seriously!!!) . . .
The baby update - well the sonogram showed the little man is growing pretty large - 3 lbs already which you'd typically see at 30/31 weeks - the current measurements from the sonogram show this little guy is measuring 17 days ahead of schedule . . . my due date has still not been changed though - each time I go in he is measuring more & more ahead so this should be interesting . . . it makes me feel like I have no idea when this little man is actually coming . . .
Ryan & I have been enjoying preparing for the upcoming holiday . . .
getting hands dirty in pumpkins . . .
being silly . . .
So many fun things to do at Halloween!!! I'm hoping to try these Jack 'o Lantern Cookie Lollipops out with him tomorrow . . .
Speaking of Halloween . . . I created this fun Halloween centerpiece decor for my weekly assignment over at Blue Moon Scrapbooking :)
The tree was from Joann's - an unfinished wood alterable that I painted black & then covered in patterned paper & die-cuts from K & Company's Spooktacular line. I actually purchased one for Ryan too & he painted his & covered it in die-cuts as well . . . a fun activity we both were able to work on together!!!
If you are looking for a little sketch inspiration . . . check out the 2-pager I have posted this week over at The Scrap Room . . .
Check out all the details HERE on their blog - you have until Monday night to turn in your layouts so get crackin'!!!!
I did do a little "non-assignment" scrapping the other day - Doodlebug was having a contest on their Facebook page & the prize was one of everything from their new Christmas, Bon Appetite, and Welcome Home lines & guess what the winning layout was . . .
I LOVED this adorable Spooky Town paper & knew it would be perfect for Ryan's first Halloween pics!!! Seriously - the cutest brads ever in this line!!!!

Hey Julie!
ReplyDeleteI was already wondering when to read from you again.
I am so happy that your little man is growing strong and healthy. These days I am hoping as well. And the freaky thing about it is that I could make a pregnancy test at Halloween.
Congratulations to your prize. The Spooky Town Collection is really adorable and once again I am sad that Halloween is not such a big thing here in Germany.
Your layout is totally adorable! As well as the tree and the sketch!
Have a nice sunday!
Greetings from the german Julie
Wow! Look at you go!
ReplyDeleteFirst, those sonogram pics are amazing!!! I only had the 2D version when my little ones were born.
Your son is adorable and it looks like he was enjoying his one on one mommy time!
LOVE your Halloween tree centerpiece! I saw those embellishments at M's yesterday and now seeing your project I wish I would have snapped them up! I guess something similar could be done with Mini Monsters.

Wow!! Love the ultra sound pics. They had the 3D ones when I had Ben, but for whatever reason he never did them. I have the old tradition ones. These are so cool.. they have such wonderful detail!! I am glad he is doing well!!! They aren't moving up your date?
ReplyDeleteI love your spooky tree!! So fun that you and Ryan each made one together!!! And, it is no surprise that you won the Doodlebug contest!!! You ALWAYS have great pages!! Congrats on winning!!
Well.......what you have been doing lately is a lot more exciting and important than what I've been doing. Love the ultrasound pics. You look fabulous. That tree you made is wonderful...you are so very talented. tfs
ReplyDeleteHoly heck Batman. I'm going to do that sketch. Love it.
ReplyDeleteThe Scraproom is perhaps the most confusingly organized site I have ever visited. I got registered but can not find your sketch, the challenge, etc for the life of me. I'm not new to this, I'm pretty savvy. From a programmers perspective I can see they did one thing and added another and another without any regard for how they interacted. I'm posting this in hopes that they read it. Part of getting members is attracting people to your site and the other is having a usable site which people want to come back.
Great sonogram photos. Love the picture of your profile (great job Mom!) The layout is very nice particularly the costume the little guy is wearing (huggable!)
ReplyDeleteHi Julie!
