Guess what . . .
All week we are posting fun challenges on our Facebook page & playing games. Be sure to join us - the grand prize is a free kit & guest designer spot. How AWESOME is that??
One of my favorite things about spring is the beauty of all those gorgeous flowers blooming. My challenge is to create your own handmade flowers to add to your layout. Use your punches, die-cutting machines, stamps, and/or scissors to create flowers from paper, fabric, felt, ribbon, vellum, acrylic, etc. Here is what I came up with using the Noel Mignon Daffodil Hill kit:
Some close-ups of my handmade flowers . . .
I couldn't resist this quote as my title - love, love, love it!!
Looking for some additional handmade flower inspiration?? Check out this Pinterest board I created. Hope you will join us this week!!!

Hello everyone!! I have a new layout up on the Noel Mignon blog to share using her latest kit, Daffodil Hill!! I couldn't resist scrapping the pic of Ryan, arms stretched out to the sky :) Although the pic is of him joyous & full of smiles, I took a bit more serious tone with the context of the layout.Recently I've noticed him struggle with how others view him. I have always admired his carefree attitude, how sure he was of himself. These days I see that changing a bit, and I am trying my best to show him what is most important is how HE views himself & the choices he makes.
Head over to the blog HERE for close-ups on my title work & journaling :) Have a wonderful Wednesday!!

Happy Wednesday everyone - we are finally mid-week & I have just one day until the hubby & I head out to Las Vegas :) While it technically is a work thing, I'm super excited to get away for a few days & enjoy WEATHER IN THE 80S!!!!!!!!!!!!! Summer clothes & sunglasses here I come!!!
Speaking of summer . . . my newest layout for Noel Mignon is all about those summer days . . .
I used her adorable new March kit, Daffodil Hill to create my layout. Oh, and guess what?? I have a new sketch to go along with it :)

I'm a sucker for fun, bright, playful scrapbook supplies & my February Citrus Twist kit was full of them :) The photo in my first layout had such rich colors, I have waited to scrap it, searching for just the right supplies. But once I saw the kit, I knew it would showcase this photo of Nicholas' first haircut perfectly :)
Did you see all those sequins?? I know, I know, I went overboard - but they added such a whimsical feel :) I cut the "snip snip" title with my silhouette - love that machine!! LOTS of layering in the center of this layout :) I anchored my photo on two overlapping patterned papers from the 6 x6 paper pad in their Project Life kit (yes I receive their Project Life kit even though I don't do Project Life - there's good stuff in there!!). Then I used pen to create a hand drawn frame of sorts around the paper. All sorts of goodies were tucked in here & there to add in the layering.
The next layout I created was for my personal album which is 8 1/2" x 11" - LOVE this size!!! This was just a silly pic of my younger brother & I last summer as we headed out for our family vacation.
I used the hand drawn frame here again, but added in a fun stitched frame as well. I did add in the mint green Thickers from my stash, but that adorable heat button was from the kit :)
I still have tons more supplies from this kit to play with - I suppose I better get going since my March kit will be here in another week or two :) Have a FAB Sunday!!!!

If you really know me, you know that I LOVE snow, I mean LOVE it!!! It has been 2 years now since we have had a big snow & guess what - it is snowing right now, in the wee hours tonight :) It is supposed to continue all day tomorrow & into the night - YAY!!! Fingers crossed we get some really good accumulating snow, as the kiddos (and me) have big plans for some sledding tomorrow :)
Before my head hits the pillow, dreaming of waking up to a winter wonderland, I have a layout to share. It goes up on the blog today, but they are saying it is likely we will lose power, so I thought I'd get it up on the blog before I lose the ability to do it :) The March Noel Mignon kit, Daffodil Hill, is gorgeous!!! Full of greys, blues, and yellows - such a fantastic color palette :) My first layout using the kit is of my hubby & I on vacation last spring :)
Head over to the Noel Mignon blog later today for close-ups & info on the details . . .

And . . . I'm back!!! My mom & I escaped to the beach this weekend for some much needed rest, relaxation, and scrapping of course :) I completed 4 pages that I am super excited to share over the next few days. But before I jump ahead of myself, I have my last layout to share from the Noel Mignon Lasting Love kit. Another 8 1/2" by 11" for my personal album :)
I found this short, sweet quote on Pinterest & knew it had to be the title of a page :)
The doily border you see below is actually an individual stamp from the kit that I stamped repeatedly to create a border down the length of the page. Lots of layering of fun stickers & embellishments . . .
Alright, off to turn my jammies inside out in hopes that we might get slammed with some snow!!! We have a chance here on Wednesday, FINALLY!!! Usually we end up missing out last minute though . . . here's to hoping some white stuff is heading my way :)
